I have liked the group Third Day every since they started out. These guys are among the new breed of Contemporary Christian artists. Actually, that statement isn't very accurate. Third Day is one of Christian Music's hardest hitting rock bands. It may seem strange to some folks that a band can play rock music and still have a faith message in their lyrics. But Third Day is one of the bands that can make it work. Their release from last year is probably the best yet from Third Day. The title of the album is Time and was released by Essential Records.

The tracks on Time include Don't Say Goodbye, Believe, Took My Place, Never Been Down and Give. There is also I've Always Loved You, Your Love Oh Lord, What Good , Sky Fall Down and Can't Take The Pain.

Believe tells you to quit looking for a message and sign from God. If you would only just believe in Him, your life will be better. What Good is a hard hitting song that asks the question: what good is a man to gain the whole world if he loses his soul?

One of the most poignant songs is Can't Take The Pain. The song is about Peter and his denial of Jesus, not once, but three times. He realizes that Jesus did indeed die for our sins.

I've Always Loved You is a love song from God to us. He has always loved us and he always will. Even when we turn away from him, he loves us still.

If you like Christian music that has a rock flavor to it, then Time by Third Day should be on your shopping list. The music has a definite rock sound with a solid message to back it up.
