In the last few years, Tim Green has made a name for himself as a mystery writer. A former Atlanta Falcon football player, Tim also is a commentator for the Fox Sports network. His last book, The Red Zone, featured sports attorney Madison McCall. Now she is back in an all-new mystery. This new book is called Double Reverse and was published by Warner Books.
Trane Jones is a real good football player. The Saints really couldn't do without him. But Trane is also a real nasty person. He has a girl die on him. His manager covers it up. Clark Cromwell is the all American mom's apple kind of football player. He goes to a prayer group a few times a week. What do these two players have in common? They both end up being on the same team. Trane is brought in to help the team when Clark is hurt in a game.
Clark ends up with a new girlfriend, Annie. She is a delight and worships Clark. At least that's what he thinks. Annie ends up pregnant and leaves Clark. She has an abortion and takes up with Trane.
During a party at a country club, Annie is murdered. At first it looks like Trane killed Annie. Then the cops find evidence that implicates Clark.
In steps Madison. She first has to defend Trane and then Clark. Through a lot of twists and turns, Madison and her assistant Chris Pelo get to the bottom of Annie's murder.
Double Reverse has all of the elements for a good mystery. It has more than one suspect, there is more than one theory for the murder, and best of all, it involves football
